Program Overview
The Regional Patch recognition program was established to recognize the most successful fencers in each of the six regions on each fencer's performance at regional tournaments. The athletes with the top three highest regional point standing will receive a patch corresponding to their placement. If there is a tie at the end of the season, then all fencers who have tied will receive a patch for their accomplishment. Only fencers who are eligible to represent the USA are able to earn a patch.
RYC and ROC Patches
RYC (Y10, Y12, Y14 events) and ROC (D1A, DV2, and VET events) patch winners are determined by the standing as of the deadline for the regular registration for Summer Nationals of that season.
RJCC Patches
RJCC (Junior and Cadet events) patch winners are determined by the standings as of the deadline for qualification for Junior Olympics of that season.
When will patches be mailed?
Patches will be mailed by August 1, each year to the mailing address listed in the fencer's membership profile.
