How do I withdraw from a Regional Tournament?
To withdraw from a regional tournament, fencers should reach out directly to the regional tournament organizer. Regional registrations and finances are managed by the organizer hosting the regional tournament. They will be the deciding voice on if a refund is issued. The tournament organizer's contact information will always be listed on the tournament's registration page under the "Have Questions?" section.
If the fencer has contacted the regional tournament organizer to withdraw and they have not responded to the request, fencers can reach out to regionalevents@usafencing.org and request help. The Regional Events Manager will be able to withdraw the fencer from the event and reach out to the tournament organizer if a refund is in order.
Do regional tournaments issue no-show fines?
No, regional tournaments do not issue no-show fines if a fencer fails to appear at the strip the day of their competition. No-show fines are only issued at the National level.
