For a refund of 50% of the event fee(s), all withdrawals must be received by the National Office by
the posted withdrawal deadline. Registration and processing fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. To withdraw from a tournament, email withdrawals@usafencing.org with the athlete/
team name, member number, and events from which you are withdrawing.
No event fee refunds will be given for withdrawals after the posted withdrawal deadline.
Event fee refunds are processed 4-6 weeks after the tournament.
NO SHOW POLICY:
If a fencer fails to appear for an event at a USA Fencing-sanctioned national tournament, the fencer
will be subject to a $250 No-Show fine, and the fencer’s membership shall be suspended. Until
payment of the fine is received, the member will no longer be able to register for any USA Fencing-sanctioned competitions, and the fencer will not be able to renew their membership.
The fine will be enforced for each event at which a fencer fails to appear. As an example, if a fencer
fails to appear at two events during the course of a national tournament, the fencer will need to pay
$250 per event with a total balance of $500.
All fencers who are scratched after not appearing at the strip will be notified via email from the National Office and provided with instructions on how they can complete payment of the fine and reinstate their membership.
